Basic Policy on Sustainability

Renewable Japan contributes to the formation of a sustainable society through practice of our company philosophy.

・We make efforts to solve social issues such as climate change by promoting the use of renewable energy.
・We build strong bonds with local communities and other stakeholders through responsible engagement.
・We comply with international rules, laws and regulations and realize fair, equitable and transparent management.

Stakeholder engagement

Renewable Japan works together with the following stakeholders to promote its business. We particularly strives to build trust with local communities who engaged in our renewable energy business through various cooperation activities.

Commitment to the SDGs

SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals): Global goals aimed at realizing a sustainable, better society where we “leave no one behind.” SDGs were set in the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,” agreed upon by all member states of the United Nations in 2015. SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 targets to be achieved by 2030.
